Thanks for that. That makes sense. Given that those were instructions from Motion Sound for miking up the pro3 externally, it logically follows that they'd have a high pass filter in the internal mic circuitry. I might check it.

turn the bas(e) (sic) over 400Hz. Drawing size/readability needs your
overall screen zoom up to about 125%. This is in MS's Support/Legacy
area for the Pro3.
