Subject:Re: New Nord Stage Owner
Hi everyone,
Seems to be more and more common to see many bands
with members unless slightly under the age of the
Rollin' Stones , conversely baby boomers DOB from
1946 to 1965 and up occasionally, almost everyone is
getting back to the stage.
Will us reach 100 years each one ? Hope so !
It happened with local 'Soda Stereo' a rock band of
top listed in the eighties, coming back after 10 years
of vanishing .
BTW, their leading guitar was accompanying Shakira at
2007 Live concert in Hannover, Germany.
I mention that woman, as saw her face (and figure) on
posters everywhere all over the States where their
songs were offered.
Is that Offtopic ? :)
Hammond as long with happens with Leslie, it's having
a growing profile worldwide, despite being a low
interest niche in terms of global music.
Nevertheless , really can be heard many commercials
with H/L backgrounds , everywhere.
On cable networks, i.e. Film & Arts as long with
History Channel, they usually list broadcasting series
of classic Rock, Blues and R&B bands where console
Hammonds as long with Leslie 145/147s can be clearly
seen on screen.
That's something not seen often before, you know that
usually cameramen usually put more visual interest in
guitars than keyboards, isn't it ?
Also locally (in Buenos Aires) a couple of new pro
recording studios are listing in their arsenal, real
C3/B3s as long with Leslie 147s.**
I wonder how long ahead , you 'clonewheelers', think
this trend will stay 'on air' or if it's just
momentary hype ?
Greets,
Rafael
P.S.
**Hope my neighbours drop me a letter if should be
reading this.
Either if they get in technical troubles or in the
case of US bands on the road were visiting Argentina.
Hope I can be of help if that was required.
BTW I'll post here if Leslie rental (everything 110
VAC inside) would soon a local option to costly rig's
airfreight.

Hi All
With some pushing from some old friends.
I have decided to come out of retirement & play again.
I just got my Nord Stage Compact.
WOW......... Back in the day my rig was to die for.
Unfortunately I
needed a van & trailer to haul it.
Now I have a bad back & gray hair.
Working with the stage for just a few hours. All of my
favorite sounds are back in a 22 pound package.
This is going to be fun. I feel like I
am 25 years old again.
More post's to follow.
