I own a roadbox (as well as a Speakeasy studio platinum preamp) that you can check out, and even buy if you would like.
I used to use a VR-760 thru a Roland KC-550 as well, so I very familiar with that setup as well.
If you would like you can bring your board, preamp and amp over to my place and compare your rig with and without the roadbox....as wll as a Nord Electro, Yamaha Motif, Muse with B4.
