The normal way to use an external leslie effect like the Boss RT20 is
to set it up connected all the time to an organ output source ad your
Leslie. Kicking it in on an organ patch of a multi instrument
keyboard is a pretty odd approach. You wouldn't disconnect a real
Leslie in between songs or parts of songs and try to adjust the
volume of a non-organ part live. I think the RT20 is great and have
no problem setting it up or using it with the input level and
keyboard output adjusted. I think people having these problems must
be using a different RT20 than the one I have. Adjusting levels is
very simple by one of several methodes. I like the 2nd Leslie effect
the best. Wj
