I'm heading into studio tonight and got the ... uhhh ... hey man, can you just bring your red keyboard? .... they have my blues deluxe, champ, bassman and pedal steel with two peavy 400's mic'd up ... and TK setup his whole drumset with both floor tom's ..... Jo also has both his electric and upright bass in there .... so they dont have anywhere to put your leslie .... we'll just run you direct ..... this is his recording so, I cant say too much ... but ... my next one ... he's running his les paul through a line 6. Me again! I got my ultimate guitar players revenge and recorded a song
called "Saratoga Passage" which is named after a waterway between Camano &
Whidbey Is. up here in W. WA. I recently got a Yammie Motif module and it
has some cool guitar patches so I didn't have to call any of my guitar
buddies to record this track. There is a patch called "Texas Boogie" which I
used. Kind of a Stevie Ray Strat tone. It is just a med. tempo groove thing
with an A & B section which I didn't really know what to do with so here it
is. It should be up soon on MySpace. Also I just got a pair of KRK Rocket 5
powered studio monitors on Ebay that I mixed this with. Highly recommended!
I paid $269.00 for the pair. They sound great. I was using my JBL Eon's and
these are a huge improvement for mixing.
