Subject:Electro OS question

Long time lurker, new member...
My electro came with 3.0 software, but I've heard of many going back to
2.2
It sounds very bright, and the "loudness robbing" or "energy stealth"
is a bit much. Does the 2.2 have less of that compression effect? I
hear the leslie effect is better too.
