Yes, they are loud, but the actual "Continuous" power rating is half of
that at 225 watts. See the ratings on Barbetta's website. A 41c is a
225w amp.

I don't know how many manufacturers use the older "RMS" (root mean
squared) formula, which players have kind of depended on since the
classic rock days as an honest power output rating. "RMS"
or "Continuous" power is generally pretty close to an amplifier's real
output. If an amplifier just says 200 watts, for instance, it doesn't
really tell you much.

Of course there are some that now muddy the water by listing RMS Peak
Power, but look for the Continous rating - that's what you're getting.
