I'm overseas tho. My home address is southern Calif.

I was really interested in dampers some time back. In fact some use RTV silicone hi-temp header gasket material you ooze out of a tube. Gets messy proli.. I'm not sure if the type of material is critical but you never know dealing with sound. We are all playing Charles Goodyear with this particular gadget.

What seems to be the consensus on sound per type of material?
