I talked to my tech.
He shimmed away the contact board from the keybed all
the way across the board, probably just about 1
millimeter thick. He made little washers for the
screws (about 20) that hold the contact board to the
metal frame. You cannot do the preset keys
however...they won't work right.
He did it about 3 times to get the right key depth.
First try was too shallow, second try was too
deep...third try was a charm.
