Subject:Re: Nord Stage experiences - Help me evaluate
I've been using a Stage Compact with a VMK-161plus. it's a pretty good
combo, but the connection between VMK action and piano sound is not
quite right. A wee bit too velocity-sensitive. It's good, it's very
useable, but something is lost as between that and the very finely-
tuned key response of the weighted stage. It wasn't a waste of money,
I do use it sometimes. The action of the VMK is really a pleasure.
But it might be best to use a weighted action controller where you can
adjust the velocity curve/sensitivity.
