David,

I said the problem was having such amount of emails over the same theme.
If this is not a problem for you and the others, I can continue writing
about. But I'm sure you just misinterpret it, so I won't....

Again, I didn't want to band anybody (whatever band means). I just
offered a fair and feasible solution, and that's more than a lot of
people have done now and in the past.

But if this list is for helping AMERICAN SMALL BUSINESSMAN I'm clearly
in the wrong list!!

Please tell I'm wrong!!

Ramon

Ramon,

"We" do not have a problem. But apparently YOU have a problem. Relax.
enjoy
all the information (and entertainment) that this list offers. Don't
feel
threatened by people posting on the list. It is an internet e-mail list,
for
god's sake!

I too have a business. I have told many people on this list about it. Do
I
expect sales coming from the list? Not necessarily. But for the few
people
who learned about the products I sell and found them useful for their
music
making, I am sure that they appreciate finding out about these products.
The
same can be said for Steve, Bruce, and others.

And speaking of Bruce, he HAS used this list to notify us about some of
his
products. And I, like many others, appreciate that. Not only were we
able to
purchase products that helped us create music, we helped an AMERICAN
SMALL
BUSINESSMAN stay afloat among the Asian corporate conglomerate that has
completely taken over our economy. The Bruce Wahlers' and Steve Hayes'
of
this country should be praised and supported. Tell me the last time you
called Suzuki and got the same response to one of your problems that
Bruce
or Steve offers.

I would be very disappointed if a clear minority forces a change in the
present configuration of this list. And I sincerely doubt that you would
be
successful in any sort of poll to band Bruce, Steve, or the other
members
who sell products from this list.

So if these posts continue to offend you and your friends. please stay
calm
and hit the Delete button...

Mark is not alone. Some of us think the same. For this reason this
topic comes always again, and again, and again....

Here's my point of view:

Some of you don't consider Steve's posts as advertisements and some
of us consider them as veiled advertisement. The fact here is that
both are just opinions, and as every opinion, it is personal and
should be treated respectful. Nobody will convince the other group
that they are wrong, so there is no need discuss it over again.

But, it is also very clear that we have a problem (in this case "we"
are all the people in this list), the problem to endure this topic
from time to time.

The solution should always be addresed to the origin of the problem,
and in this case this is Steve's posts (*). Would it be so hard to
you, Steve, to arrange your posts in a way that nobody thinks it is
an advertisement? I mean, not to speak about your products (if the
topic isn't related, of course), not to send any link to your
business pages (use a private one), not to post videos where your
Company's name is written at the start of the video..... Just take
Bruce W. as an example. He also has a Clonewheel related business and
nobody has any problem with him.

(*)Others can argue that the origin is the first post from Mark, but
I hope they can see that if it weren't Mark, it would be any other of
this group, just as it has been in the past.

Hope this helps

Ramon
