I fail to see how Steve playing his new Nord Stage is an announcement.? It does not include spec sheets, marketing collateral or an inventory list.? We have many members who have some kind of business that revolves around clone wheel organs.? In fact, if someone wants to see playing a clonewheel organ for money as a business in and of itself, then none of us can post anything if we play in a band for money.
Please go be a lawer somewhere else.? If you don't like the list, dont subscribe.? If something irritates you, delete it.? No one on here is hawking their products in an advertisement.? We are discussing products that we love, enjoy and that make our lives happy.? Some love Motion Sound, some Hammond Suzuki, Diversi, Roland, Clavia, etc.?
Why do some look for sinister consipiracy theories?? We're having fun with fellow clonewheel enthusiasts.? Period.

Subject: [CWSG] What the charter says....
OK.......
I went into the files section a read the charter for this group. Have any of
you seen it lately?
It says -
Members who produce products and services may make a ONE TIME announcement
of this fact.
It should NOT include price lists , spec sheets, SOUND SAMPLES marketing
collateral or inventory lists.
Also it states that flaming - a verbal or written tirade using derisive or
abusive language - will not be tolerated . Abusers of the rule will receive
one written warning. Repeat offenders will be removed from the list.
Those are some of the very basic guidelines that it has been suggested that
this group follow.
I am not a person who thinks that all laws are golden and who is out to bust
people etc. What I am concerned about is whether or not I am participating
in an environment where all participants receive equal treatment.
Unfortunately it seems to me that there are persons and organizations on
this list that are able to violate the guidelines , and some of the popular
consensus is that it is OK if they do.
I am still waiting to hear from the moderator on this.
