Hey Bo, I have to agree with Joe on this one. I'm a big supporter of a couple of my local stores, but we have built a great relationship. But there are simply things they can't help me with, either because they don't/won't carry them, or because it's cost prohibitive. And in forcing other manufacturers to go through your chain of command, you're placing undue burden on them, and your store frankly. Everyone wants a slice of pie, and by making them play together, you're forcing them to either give up their slice to serve you, or whittle their slice down to a point where it's not worth it.
That said, I do have an RB3 for sale if you're interested.

Hi Bo,
Another way to look at it is that guys like Steve, John Fisher, Al
Goff, Bruce Wahler, and Tony Labrasca are part of a small community
we have going here on the lists and its just as valid to support
other people in this community as to support your local retailers.
Think of it like you are running a small business (which you
basically are) and decide what is best for your business. Sound,
portability, etc.
Your ideas about buying locally are sort of like the Pirate's Code.
To quote Jack Sparrow "And thirdly, the code is more what you'd
call "guidelines" than actual rules."
Good luck,
Joe
