Subject:Re: new super compact Roadbox
you know ... i said that I was going to get a RB3 in feb/mar of '08 (fed's pay me back) and the primary reason for my purchase is the ability to carry a beautifully sounding, loud, un-mic'ed, 1/4 inch direct plug-in, all-in-one rotary speaker to my gig along with my nord and go to town.... two power cords and one 1/4 inch plug .... I'm not saying that I have guitar player envy .... but I have a 40lb case of WIRE's ... yes ... wires. The only other thing I wanna' ever have to consider is a DI box for the key sounds ... but if they dont have it ... I will be a B3 guy that has a rotary speaker just as loud as the guitar guy with the JCM 800. My dream ...

Subject: [CWSG] new super compact Roadbox
With regards to the recent talk of carting air spinners in small cars,
I heard some very cool Roadbox news from Steve today. Imagine a 2
piece Roadbox, with each piece being the size of the current
Convertible horn cabinet (about 14" tall). The top cab is identical to
the Convertible, and the bottom is a forward firing 12" in a cabinet
ported like the current Speakeasy subs. Build in a 250W solid state
amp and tube pre for clean gospel style players, or add an AMA for the
rock players. Sounds like a great idea to me!
