The bass player seems to be more of a problem than your playing... he seems to make lots of out-of-tune mooing noises. Tell him to get a 4-string or a fretted bass - he obviously can't cope with both lack of frets AND that extra string! Seeing as you asked Tim, I think your playing needs a lot of work.
You seem to have the right concept and some of the right notes, but
your rhythm is letting you down, in a very big way.

I suggest you get a metronome and a copy of Hanon, the Virtuoso
Pianist and get busy. Within a couple of months things will be a lot
tighter.
