Subject:Random Stuff: was: Decimator web page up with sounds
I think you've hit the nail on the head. A dozen or so posts back,
Tony mentioned that he read the list posts in order from newest to
oldest. I had always suspected that, since he very often will respond
to a question that has already been answered. With all due respect ...
and Tony, you are THE MAN!!! Love you , bro!... what I like to do is
use the web version of the yahoo groups. I simply page back by using
the "older" link until I see the last post that I've read (the
hyperlinks change color when they've been clicked) and start reading
from there. Rather than responding to anything right away, I read
through the rest and see where the discussion has already been, then
go back and reply to the most appropriate post. [rather than the last
post, or the original post] As always, YMMV ;-)
Tony, I also like to freak out to the 'turn signal phase dance'.
Reminds me of the Volkswagon winshield wiper commercial! I always
wondered why some signals were hyper fast (rubber o-rings, no idler,
AC switching relays?). Then it happened to me. It seems if one of your
turn signal lamps is blown out, when you activate that turn signal, it
goes in hyper spaz mode. This is either: to let you know that a signal
is burned out... or maybe just an artifact of the electrical circuit
that does the flashing - ie if the resistive load is removed, the time
constant of the flasher circuit is thrown off, and it goes faster?
Rock on, folks,
Greg
