Subject:Re: Another crazy Leslie idea?

And if trying to improve a Hammond/Leslie were nuts, guys like Bill Beer would not have enjoyed so much intense admiration from many respected musicians. This is like telling Columbus to forget about his trip because he's just going to fall of the edge of the world. Granted there are ideas that just seem useless, like drilling the other horn, but not every idea is meaningless. Taking out the tube amp in a 122 and putting a solid state amp in along with JBL's instead of the classic Jensens may seem "nuts" but the naysayers that stood around those improvements have swallowed their share of crow since then.

As suggested, if you don't like the thread, just hit delete rather than slap us with your closed minded ire.
