Subject:Re: Was:Don't blame your tools; Is: strangest organ rig?

The strangest stuff I've had was my first portable organ and my first
Rhodes. The organ was a Thomas that folded into two cases and had a
little external Leslie. I don't remember the model. The Rhodes was
one of the very first models built to use in a classroom. It was lime
green and sat on a curved pedistal. Looked like it belonged in a
budget sci-fi movie.

I also had:
Hammond M3 w/2 145 Leslies powered by a Fender amp (first Hammond)
Hammond B3 & 122 Leslie this one was Cherry wood and came out of a
Dr's house. Broke my heart when it burnt up in a fire in a club
(uninsured, of course).
Hammond BC with 900U Leslie. The U stood for ugly. I thought it was
just because it didn't have vinyl. Turns out they meant the tone (I
think).
Hammond C2 with 122 Leslie
added 5' Kimble baby grand, Rhodes Stage, and Clav to stage rig.
added Arp Omni and Oddessy to rig.
got rid of the Kimble, got a Helpinstill Electric Grand (wish I still
had it).
Sold the Helpinstill ... got a Yamaha CP80
Got rid of CP80 ... got a CP70 (save weight)
Sold the C2 and went through a series of Synths (too many to even
list). Did include Yamaha DX-7, Roland U110, Roland U20 Korg M1 etc.
Got Kurzweil K1000SE (still have it)
Got one of the first Voce rack modules
Bought Dynacord CLS-222
Picked up Oberheim OB3
Hammond B3 w/ 21H Leslie (finally got another cream-puff Cherry one
to replace the one that burnt up).
Hammond XB-2
Hammond XK-2
Yamaha S90ES
Yamaha EX-5
Hammond XK-3
Hammond XK-1
Nord Stage 76

There were others, but apparently not all that memorable.
