Just to weigh in......
For my regular band I us a GEM Promega2, an XP80 midied to a VOCE V3 or V5
w/RT20, 2 Motion Sound KT80's and an Ultimate Support APEX. With cases,
cartage and set up it is probably a 30 min set up. However, when going to
a jam or a quick pick up gig (especially with a 2 guitar band) I'll use a
Nord Electro 73 and one of the KT-80's, an X stand and use the line out
into the PA if more volume is needed. It gets the job done w/ one trip to
cart gear and 6-7 min set up.
