Hi,

>Any idea how the Leslie parameters on a clone (Korg CX-3 - V2.0 in my
>case) relate to "real" seconds?

The Korg settings don't easily map to seconds, and I'm not sure that the scale is linear. (Most of the other CX-3 settings aren't linear, or at least, don't start at zero.)

If what you are really after is to map the Leslie parameters of the CX-3 to a "real" Leslie, I did that years ago. My Leslie is MIDI'ed, so I was able to turn the Leslie amp to zero, then listen to the CX-3 while watching the Leslie. The belt tension was set properly, the motors were well-oiled. and the Leslie was sitting on a level floor.

The results are here --

They are also part of David Jacques' CX-3 sound settings, which can be found in an email in the CW archives.

Regards,
