Yes that is right Roland, apart from as I mentioned before the ramp
down is much faster than the ramp up.

You also lose the way the rotors speed up at different speeds that
you get with the footswitches on the unit, but so far I've found the
benefit of being able to use the switches on my organ console rather
than on the RT-20 outweighs all the disadvantages of this method.

Yes I would recommend the RT-20 for quiet practice but not sure I
would use it live with a Hammond - depends on the amp you use I
suppose.

I also found that it sounded good combined with a real Leslie to give
the effect of having two Leslies without having to plug the other one
in!
