Subject:Re: Shall I upgrade from B4 to hardware?
This brings up a good point. I've never played via a sofware product. So I'm thinking that I've never experienced latency. What exactly happens? The key sounds slightly after I press it? I've played on my Roland VR-760, a Nord Electro a Casio 3000 and Yamaha Motif ES. I've never noticed any latency.
Can someone give me a better idea of the experience of it?
Thanks,
Gene

Subject: [CWSG] Shall I upgrade from B4 to hardware?
Can anyone give me some advice? I use B4 through a Speakeasy 122AMA and a Leslie 760 for
live playing. I am satisfied whith the sound, but not with the latency and the lack of drawbars
. I think about bying a Nord C1 or a Hammond xk1. Will it be worth it? Is the sound in these
clones better or as good as B4? Or should I just buy midi-keyboard with sliders?
Do you think the latency is much better on the hardware?
The best would be to try the clones for myself, but I live in a small city where the only music
shop only have guitars and arranger keyboards.
