Well, not ALL of the problem, but some of it. Changing my tubes has really
done the trick. I used to have the tube circuit turned off and let the
Speakeasy do all the work. Now I can add just a little of the XK3 distortion
when I really want to go "over the top". Like Nigel Tuffnel said: "This
thing goes to 11!"

Change your tubes, boys and girls. That will take care of the overdrive
problem.
