Subject:Re: Anyone using the E-MU Definitive B-3 Module?

Hi ,

I believe you guys.

I mean that it can be assumed that peers here not
hasn't acoustic/musical impairment for sure, but a
great evel of love for the 'real thing'

Your sad news will have impact related to this
'definitive' stuff , or let's say 'temporary' ? :)

Furthemore it's an actual pitty more as it's coming
from a company with two main highlights in the digital
sound timeline :

a. the SoundBlaster and
b. the first ever created module thru MIDI in mid 80's

BTW anybody has opinion about Vintage Keys X
Collection
(Number 3 having B-3, Rhodes and Clavia samples
together) ?

Does it worth to pay for it

It's costing above 100 dollars (Euro equivalence) i.e.
in catalogues of the manufacturer.

Bests,

Rafael

I bought it on a Tuesday, returned it on a Wednesday.
I thought it sucked @ss.

rarely do I ever outright dislike a product, but I can
honestly say
that the e-mu was a disappointment for me. some said
they liked it in
a rock/pop context. I was looking for a more
jazz-oriented sound, and
wasn't pleased. specifically, the c/v was a little
disappointing, and
the leslie wasn't great at all. I think I really
*wanted* to like it,
so I was pretty let down.
