Just a quick observation:

In regards to your MIDI connections, connecting all the OUTs to INs
in a loop probably won't work. Usually MIDI signals that come into a
device via the IN port are NOT transferred to the OUT port. That's
what the MIDI THROUGH port is for. It's a bit of a hassle sometimes...

One workaround is to connect both the MIDI OUT and THROUGH ports to a
MIDI merge device.
