Subject:Old CX3 Problem

Hey,
I tried a 1 amp. transformer on my cx3 but had the same problem as i did with the .5 amp. so I dont think the current is the problem. When switched on, the LED's light up but it only makes a low humming noise. The leslie effect works on the humming noise but thats all it can do as the keys dont work either. I tried it through three different amps and got the same problem, and my lead works fine so it has to be the organ. The guy I bought it from in America said he was using it with no problems. Does anyone know what's wrong?
