Subject:Re: Behringer Eurolive Speakers
I used the KX1200 amps for a few years. The only problem I ever had was one of the woofers blew out, but that happened while I was on vacation and my gear was at church. I think the youth band may have 'borrowed' it.
I'm thinking of getting a pair of those B215a. Hard to beat $500 for 2!

Hi Guys,
I decided to try out one of the Eurolive B215a powered PA cabs
sight-unseen. It came about 3 weeks ago, and I haven't played around
with it much yet, but I ran my setup into it (B4II, other vsts and an
old Roland digital piano) last night and was very happy. The organ
sounded great through it, no weird honking in the mids and the 15"
woofer has plenty of bass. The highs were also very clear. It runs
pretty quietly too that is to say theres almost no hiss from it when
its on. Piano, EP, and synths sounded just as nice through it. I
haven't tried using a microphone through it yet, but I can't imagine
it not sounding good. This thing is very LOUD. I have no problem being
heard, in fact I have to watch my volume with it. I love the fact that
in addition to being able to pole-mount the speaker you can also lay
it on its side to act as a monitor wedge (which I do). All in all I
think it was a great little investment and I'll be able to find lots
of uses for this speaker. It weighs about 50lb. I'll probably pick up
a second so that I have a pair of them. I mean at only $250.00 each
why not?
Hope this was helpful,
Ed
