I know what you mean - it's like taking the hall reverb effect that creates the sound of the space in which the Leslie is sitting, but having that effect being processed by the Leslie - it sounds great, but it certainly is logically odd!
The insteresting thing about that is that effectively you're saying:
Take the raw organ sound;
Internally process it to sound like it's going through a preamp, amp,
speakers and rotating baffles/horns;
THEN process it so that the sound from the rotary elements are going through
another preamp!
I can accept that it works, but it doesn't really make sense from a realism
point of view.
