Subject:Good preamp for Nord Electro 2

I am very new to the whole hammond thing. Just recently bought a Nord
ElectroRack 2 and love the sound of it. I just find that it could use
a little more gain. I'm usually running it straight to the PA via a
line mixer where all my keyboard outputs are routed to, before going
into the main board. The problem I have is that I have to crank the
volumes on both the Nord and the mixer channels just to get it in the
same volume range as my other keyboards. Plus I find the organ sound,
although great, could use a little warming up by a good tube preamp.

I don;t want to use an amp, cause it will be too loud for the kind of
gigs I do. I was looking at the Behringer tube preamp/DI as well as
similar products from PreSonus and ART.

Anybody been using something in a similar setup that adds the warmth
and gain I'm looking for?????????
