I can tell you for a fact that a "normal" 8 pin DIN cable will not work. I
ordered a Mesa Boogie cable, tested all pins and it doesn't work.

My suggestion is to avoid the 8 pin DIN interface. If it works the same as
on the XK1, the audio will have the leslie sim. This is NOT what you'd
expect from a leslie (direct) interface.
