Subject:Re: Motion Sound Pro-3X VS Pro-3Tm VS Leslie 2101

Same thread, new question.

Can anyone offer a comparison between low rotor simulators in the mono
Pro-3X and the Pro-3T running in stereo?

I run a Roland V-Combo thru a Fender Keyboard 200 SFX. It's by far the
best single keyboard amp I've ever owned and despite it's size and
weight, it's still a lot easier to gig with than the pair of JBL EON
15s I used to haul around. The Leslie Sim in the V-Combo sounds great
thru this amp but I still want push some air around.

I'm not concerned with the differences in distortion between the tube
vs. non-tube models. I like being able to dial in distortion on the
fly from the V-Combo's front panel, so my plan would be to run the
Motion Sound unit as clean as possible and continue to get my
distortion from the V-Combo's Leslie sim in the "Stop" position.

Bottom line question: which low rotor sim sounds better - the mono
Pro-3X or the Pro-3T running in stereo? For that matter, what about
the low rotor sim in the original Pro-3, before the addition of the tube?

thanx
