Subject:To post or not to post ... that is the question.

I'm a newbie to this forum and I'm not sure whether or not posting an
item for sale is frowned upon or not. I'm planning to list an item on
Ebay, but thought I would give you guys first crack at it. Could
somebody let me know if this is allowed or not?
