Subject:Re: Nord C1 and others (Was: close-up of new panel)
Hi Mark,
Yes, too bad we didn't get to meet up.
As far as the "C3," all of the material at the show said C3, but the final product is the C1. I heard that H-S was quite upset, and while my personal feeling is that Clavia might have passed the legal tests in the long run, is it worth the fight? I mean, it's almost as small as the two keybeds, bright red, and uses drawbuttons, so what's in a name? Hopefully, such a simple change won't affect the shipping dates. They certainly got the website changed ASAP.

I heard the Leslie, but only in a crowded, noisy environment, and with the Noise Police in full swing. We all know that ANY Leslie, MS, Elka, etc. sounds OK at lower volumes; you have to lean on it to notice the bigger picture. And there wasn't any leanin' to be had at NAMM! ;-)
It's also interesting that they copied the MS control panel pretty much verbatim ...
Regards,
-BW
