I just got myself the StudioLogic (MP117) 17 key pedal controller and
I'm using it with an old XB-2. Its got several foot switches --
program change, midi chanel, transpose, and octave (I think).

The thing plugged in and worked with no fuss and I've been having a
blast. I haven't tried doing anything with the program change, yet.
I messed around with transpose a bit, but decided that was of no use,
anyway. I change the midi channel to "2" to have the pedals on a
different sound from the keys. The 17 pedals seem a lot more useful
then just 13. Being spinet style, its hard to do much heel work.

Unless, of course, you want full pedals, this is worth trying.
