Subject:Updated laptop rig

I want to recommend this product line from gator-- they are soft racks
w/laptop pockets featuring a cabling hole:
http://www.gatorcases.com/productsdetail.aspx?LID=1&PID=26

I just packaged my laptop stage rig in the GSRW-2U and upgraded to the
Indido DJ so I have 4 outputs to give a dedicated synth bass output:
Out 1 => B4 (to Leslie)
Out 2 => Soft synths to Stage monitor (and a touch to leslie)
Out 3 => Midi-mutable output for Soft synths to bass
Out 4 => Future expansion (??? Tube combo)

I'm still using Audiomulch as a VST host (going on 4yrs?). It offers
amazing midi mapping capabilities including mutes mentioned above. I
used midi learn to map my voce midi drawbar to control things (eg.
leakage is now synbass volume on the amazing free Taurus VST:
http://antti.smartelectronix.com/ ).

The rest of the rig (all fit in the bag) is an Edirol UM-3 Midi
interface, Small Behringer mixer, and Stewart PA100B 1/2 rack 180W
poweramp. I can set the Behringer trims/eq by feel and can see the
channel volumes-- I can't use a 1U rack mixer because I need 3band EQs
on my non-laptop sources.

The same bag could be useful w/a Receptor with a mixer in the laptop
pocket.
