If your needing a a weighted controller and don't need a squencer/sampler, I would highly reccommned the Yamaha S90ES. It has the same Motif sound engine and is going for below $2k right now. It has superb action and EP's. It also weighs around 50lbs. Very nice.

Thanks, Ken.
That Roland is the other contender right now. I recently won a Native
Instruments "Komplete 4" software package. Although it's an awesome
prize (retails for $1400), I have no use for it and plan to sell it and
use the money to purchase the digital piano with.

Peter,
I bought a Roland RD 300SX piano and I am very happy with it. It's
light but has an excellent graded hammer action, and has quite good MIDI
controller implementation. Very good piano sounds, decent EPs and good
strings etc. I would recommend it.
