Subject:XK-3 (was Re: Interesting News from Clavia)

When I first read your post I thought you meant that you didn't want
the change to occur until all notes being held when the preset key
was pressed were released. I should have clarified that a little
better. My first response was lost when I had to re-log in after
hitting send (I don't know why, but that has been happening fairly
frequently lately) and I tried to give the readers digest version the
second time. It seems that every piece of equipment that is
introduced anymore has two major shortcomings: It is too programmable
and it isn't programmable enough.

Thanks to so many personal tastes there are quite a few products to
choose from. In my comparison of tweaking an XK-3 (or B3 clone) to
tinkering with a newly purchased old B3, I should have used "one"
instead of "you". I didn't intend to imply you directly.

Happy New Year.
