The default is that when a preset key is pressed all the preset
parameters change to (or remain in) the state that the preset calls
for. There are bank and global parameters in addition to the preset
parameters. One group of Bank parameters are the Preset Load
parameters. They determine which parts of a preset are called up when
a preset key is pressed. The owners manual is available in the

and the preset load parameters are on pg. 56. You can set it so that
percussion will not change from its current state for example. I
believe you can set the parameters so that the only thing that
changes is the drawbars (and you can turn them off too). You could
also set up a bank where the only things that don't change are the
drawbars. You can also un-link the upper and lower manuals so that,
if you are playing a system, pressing the upper preset keys will not
change the drawbar settings for the lower manual. You may also save
lower manual drawbar settings to the lower manual preset keys
independent of the upper manual presets. If you re-link the manuals,
then the upper preset keys will call up the lower manual drawbars for
the corresponding lower manual preset key.

If you press and hold a preset key for about a second, the parameters
for that preset will be called up (those that are still on based on
the preset load settings) anyway and the drawbars will revert to
there current positions. If you are holding notes down, the sound
will change to the preset drawbar setting and then back to the
current positions. If, for example, the Leslie changed from slow to
fast it will remain on fast.
