Subject:Boss RT20 Rotary Ensemble MIDI/FS input?

I took a look inside and there are a couple of connector areas on the main circuit board that aren't used. CN5 is for a 7 pin connector and CN3 is for a 3 pin connector. Optimistically I'm thinking these might be for a MIDI input and a footswitch input which would make this unit even better!

Does anyone have access to the schematic that could confirm what these are intended to do? Or has anyone done any testing?
