Subject:Tall Boy Decorator... I have one ( 30A Vibratone)

I found one of these last summer. It is called Vibratone 30A and it is
indeed the first model Don Leslie produced.

This one is exactly like mine. There is only one major difference. The
original horns were made of paper mache ! I have been told that many break
apart..... mine is intact.

Of course I am highly curious what it will sell for. I am a bit prejudiced
of course, but I would think, as the awareness of Hammonds and Leslies
increase, that this would be an outstanding investment. This is number 140 which I
believe is actually the 40th one made. Harvey Olsen would know.

Leslie offered an upgrade on the original drivers to Jensens... I am not
sure how that worked.... but that is what I heard.

Mine didn't sound that bad when I simply left the top compartment off. It
was hooked to a Hammond BC which sounded different anyway. I haven't played
mine in a while.
