Subject:Walter J..... VK8m, Voce V5+ differences (??)
Attention Walter J...
You are the only guy on the list that has both the VK8m and the Voce V5 plus
as far as I know.
I really wanted to check out a V5 plus but I have never even seen one.
Percussion volume adjustment is extremely important to me.... as far as I know it
is not adjustable on the Voce.
Also, after owning a Micro B two I was not sure that I would like the Voce
overdrive.
I have also been very curious about the Voce's attempt at chorus vibrato.
I really do like the Roland. On certain drawbar settings, the leslie sim can
be VERY convincing. It has great chorus vibrato and the overdrive makes this
thing super fat. I think that A LOT of people are missing out on this. It
really takes some time to find out what it will do.
Two things I DO NOT like about the Roland by the way. I think that the
leslie sim affects third percussion too much, and I HATE the fact that they put
that damn D BEAM in instead of a leslie sim switch.
By the way, I heard that the new Edirol/ Roland controller easily switches
the leslie sim. It has "drawbar" sliders too. There hasn't been too much talk
about that.....
