I have also heard that the int. sim. on the XM-2 (which is what you probably meant) is the exact same as on the XK-3 & XK-1 (which is the one Keyboard mag said was improved). I have the XM-2 & the int. sim. is not that great. For most jobs I'm using a Leslie 2101 w/ newly added Speakeasy AMA - review to come in a couple weeks - so the int. sim isn't a great problem. However after doing a few weeks where I needed to use the int. sim on half the jobs I would hope that if there is an upgrade it is one that you can pop into existing models.
