Don’t worry… I am sure that Suzuki will live down to our expectations… The
XK3 sounds good enough with a Speakeasy and a real Leslie. I doubt that
their “improved” Leslie sim will be anything to write home about…

Same here. I have an almost brabd new XK-3 which I bought a year ago plus
lower keyboard. I am spending some serious money to build a convincing,
folçdable B3 cabinet around it. I like the XK-3 - much better than some
other hardware clones I tried before - but the line-out signal "as is" was a
bit disappointing for me (especially compared to the rave reviews in a time
when the better sounding NI B4 plugin - can be used "as is" - was out long
ago) when I first heard it, especially the leslie sim and key click. Plus:
the overdrive is not quite right - not fat enough. A good leslie is needed
to make it sound good.
I sincerely hope that HS doesn't end up disappointing musicians who invested
some serious money not just for the job, but for the love of Hammonds, just
to find out it wouold have been better to wait another year or so....
