That guitar looks very similar (though not identical) to the Selmer guitar designed by Mario Maccaferri and popularised by Django Reinhardt. It differs from other designs I have seen in having a wide oval soundhole rather than a D-shaped one or a narrow oval one. Perhaps it was a lesser-known Selmer model, or possibly a local copy of Django's instrument. The pickup looks like it might be an early Rowe or DeArmond.

Subject: [CWSG] OT: a jazz guitar player of the 30's
Hi All,
Hope moderator accepts this link just to share it as
many of us are also musicians and surely lovers of
swing and jazz.
It's probably that just a few people know overseas
about Oscar Aleman , an argentine jazz guitar player ,
probably the first here that got 'global'
I heard about him thru vinyl discs in the 60's but
actually were the 30's when he got popular mostly in
Europe.
So it came my curiousity about what their rig was.
I also wonder which kind of amplifier was used then as
tubes were and 'invention' of the mid 30's.
About the guitar: seems to be a spanish guitar
modified to accomodate steel strings, isn't it ?
Here the pic of the band , BTW can be seen there a
legendary RCA studio mic.

Oscar Aleman was contemporary and friend of top jazz
guitar player Django Reinhardt:

choose 'English' then choose 'Aleman's music' (box in
the bottom last row)
Featured songs 'Sweet Georgia Brown ' and 'in the
mood'
Hope the above links help, mostly to the
'connoisseurs' of the forum.
Bests,
