Subject:B4 inquiry

Folks, I just need a bit of info please.

I have a copy of B4 and I'm very happy with the Leslie sim for my purposes. I would use a real Leslie except that I'm trying to cut down on what equipment I have to lug around to gigs etc.
My question is, can an external sound source be channelled through the Leslie sim of B4? I thought I read once that it could be done but I haven't a clue how it would be done if it can be done at all.

How about if I upgraded to B4II, would that help in this respect?

A separate question. Can either B4 or B4II be tuned a little sharp or flat? I'm not talking about transposition. You've probably guessed at what I'm at, I'm wondering if I can create the 'chorus' effect of the early Hammonds which had two sets of tonewheels in them. I realise I'd have to use two computers to achieve it if it is possible. I have a friend with an old 1937 BC so I know the effect that I'm after.
