If you are going to gig with this keyboard on any regular basis, I would
strongly recommend you get the hard case. I was thinking back on my 40 years
of mostly 'semi-pro' (weekend) gigging, with 5 years of full time in there
too, and the 3 or 4 instruments (mostly keys, one guitar) for which I had
soft cases ALL sustained damage to some degree as a result of moving in the
soft case. The hard cases usually lose hardware (hinges, handles, etc) but
the instruments stay intact in all but the catastrophic accidents.
