Same here. I find the XK-3c to be built like the little tank the XK-3
was. I didn't have it out of the box much longer than it took to
re-tube it and stick it in the XKLM lower manual and cabinet. The fit
and finish seem to be superior to anything else comparable on the
marketplace. The sound quality is extraordinary. No XK-3 ever sounded
like this to me, no matter what you're using to push the air around.
It sure performs wonderfully with my Leslie 3300 and exceeds my
expectations.

Even the controls have been somewhat streamlined and made simpler and
more elegant. The "Key-Click" parameters, to mention just one. The new
"Overall Tone" control is absolutely the best and can make it come
alive in any playing room venue, in a matter of a few seconds.
