One thing that you should consider when comparing the XK-1 and C1
(I've owned the XK-3, XK-1 & C1) is that with the XK-1 a 'real' leslie
is pretty much a necessity, but with the C1 it's a luxury. If you
already have a 'leslie' of some sort or don't mind buying one and
transporting it, the XK-1 is a great option, otherwise you may or may
not be all that happy with the sound.
