Hi Mark,

I have a Motif ES rack and I like it. But IMHO the accoustic pianos
on it are nothing to write home about. There is a Vintage Keys sound
library that you can get from www.motifator.com that has good EP and
clav sounds. That being said, I still bring the Electro rack along
for those sounds. I play in a classic rock band and I use the Motif
for the Velofute patch (velocity sensitive flute), several synth
sounds, and one of the Vinage Keys clav sounds.

If you have tendonitis, try playing a Yamaha CP-300. Its a very
natural feeling piano action. That's what I use for accoustic piano
and to trigger the electro EPs. I'm a little dissapointed in the
piano sound of the CP-300 but I love the action and keep thinking
I'll eventually get Ivory and use the CP-300 as a controller. Dream
on...
