"Edirol PCR Editor" makes programming *much* easier, and allows
loading/saving control maps. Please note it does *not* control the
PCR-800: data are exchanged via transmit and receive protocols, which
need a few keystrokes on both sides.
I'm very happy with the PCR-800, teamed with VB3 and MrRay 73 (a
Rhodes emulator) + an expression pedal (mandatory for the organ!).
In my specific VB3 control map, all sliders, knobs and buttons are
assigned, so I designed a neat cardboard mask with the right names
(e.g. Perc 3rd above button A6, Reverb above knob R4, Vib Low under
button B1 etc.).
